A major activity of the Kingston Hill Gardeners is care of the grounds of the Fayerweather House, in cooperation with the Kingston Improvement Association. The Fayerweather House in Kingston, Rhode Island commands special interest as part of Rhode Island’s architectural and historical heritage, a focal point in the rural setting of Kingston. The grounds of nearly an acre have been developed into a small park, featuring old-fashioned shrubbery and garden plantings typical of 150 years ago. We encourage you to visit the Fayerweather House, which houses a wonderful craft center, and to stroll the grounds. You can learn more about this beautifully restored 19th century home by visiting the Fayerweather House page on the Kingston Improvement Association website.
